MY PHILOSOPHY

I am happy to say that I am a 46 years old and like many people I know, I wanted to live a more healthy lifestyle. This has been a personal journey for most of my adult life. I have made many mistakes through the years, mostly trying to get quick results. The truth is there are no short-cuts in life. The most worth while causes take time, effort and patients.
Throughout my journey I hvae been blessed to come across individuals who were on the path to a better, more healthy way of living. They were kind enough to share the knowledge they had gained on there path to good health. I realized a common thread with each person who shared there experience with me, they enjoyed talking about what they had learned. This is where I am at in my life and this blog is my way of sharing that information with you.

Start simple, just find one thing that you want to target and go from there. I will give you tips to help make this work throughout your entire journey.
It sounds to simple but it works. For some reason when we write things down they become more real to us. There is an accountability factor at work here that is personal. Keep it simple, what you did and how long you did it.
No one is perfect, perfection is a concept and it dose not exist in the real world. Even the best of us make mistakes. If you never make a mistake then you will never grow.
In life it is sometimes the little things that bring us satisfaction. Throughout your life's journey you will experience this from time to time. But every person has the ability to make this happen for themselves just by setting goals and working toward them. It's your journey make it memorable.

THE BUILDING BLOCKS

JOURNAL
I put this first because we often jump right into an idea and forget certain steps thinking we will go back later and do it then.  So grab a tablet and a pencil. start by putting the date and a brief description of your goal at the top of your page. Choose a day and time that you know is good for you. Make this your starting point and go from there. But rember, after each program you do write it down and smile because you did this for yourself.
MUSCLE FITNESS
There are two main types of muscle training, strength and development. Both are important to have a healthy balance.  Strength will help improve endurance while development will improve tone and definition. Body build is the development of individual muscles throught the entire body to create mass and size. I recommend starting with some strength training before beginning a body building routine.
BODY SHAPPING
We all have adiffrent idea of wht the perfect body shape is, but that is diffrent for each of us.  There is no one size fits all in the real world. the trick is to work with what you have and reshape what you don't like. Celebrities do this all the time and I will give the the tips and tricks to get the body that is right for you.
WEIGHT LOSS
Don't play the numbers game.
There is no one size fits all to weight loss. Everyone's body is diffrent so dont get caught up in the numbers. Let your eyes and the way you feel guide youto what is right for you.
THE WORKOUT
We can allagree that our lives are busy and thatworking out is great but who has the time.Think of it this way, we all make time for the things we want to do everyday. If you can set aside 10 minuites a day to do something just for you then start there. you will be amazed what you can achieve in just 10 minuites. The reward is a sence of pride and acheievement that you did this for yourself. 
HEALTHY CHOICES
Start simple
just making one change every day can have a profound impact on how you feel. Something as simple as drinking one bottle of water a day can make a significant change, and over time you can build on this.
